The Client: Chetham’s School of Music
Project Description: As part of their Outreach program Chetham’s School of Music hold a Woodwind Day for children every year. The aim of the day is to create a buzz and excitement about woodwind instruments, and to give children the opportunity to work with other students and staff at Chetham’s. The children also get to try new instruments for the very first time such as a flute, oboe, saxophone, clarinet, bassoon and recorder.
Solution: The campaign targeted children who have never played one of the above instruments before, and encouraged them to come and ‘have a go’. Establishing a vibrant and colourful design along with some original illustrations, the campaign covered press and magazine advertisements, promotional print, and online advertising.
Cooldream succeeded in communicated the relevant information whilst still maintaining an expressive and lively feel. The campaign proved to be so effective the client struggled to cope with the demand! We don’t often hear one of our clients say the design was too successful!
